Make an appointment
If your appointment is urgent, please telephone the surgery at 8.30am. Requests for urgent same day appointments will be assessed by your GP who will allocate an appointment appropriate to your needs. If you call later than 9.30am, we may not be able to give you an appointment the same day.
If your request is not urgent, please phone after 9.30am to book a routine appointment two or more days in advance. Please do not request a same day appointment if you do not have an urgent medical need.
It is important that you tell us if you no longer require your appointment as this can be given to someone else.
We have a new online booking system for patients. This is currently available for doctor appointments only.
Firstly, you must register in person with the receptionist. Please bring with you one form of photo ID, ie, a driving licence or passport. Each family member will need to register separately. The receptionist will then issue you with information to enable you to access the online booking facility.
Once you have created your online account, you will be able to book your appointment directly into our appointments system, as well as order your repeat medication.
Telephone Booking System
We have an automated appointment booking system to work alongside our existing telephone and internet booking system. When telephoning the practice, you will be given the option to make an appointment (or to change/cancel an existing appointment) 24 hours a day. This service is currently for GP appointments only.
Please note, when cancelling an appointment using the automated system, you must give at least one hour’s notice. If this is not possible, you will need to speak to a receptionist.
Please use our touch screen in reception to let us know that you have arrived for your appointment. This can be used for all doctor and nurse appointments. All you have to do is press the month you were born, the day you were born (1-31) and the first letter of your surname. The computer system will then mark you as having arrived and advise you where to wait for your appointment.
The practice is responding to the government’s drive to improve GP access for commuters and other patients who are unable to attend for a routine appointment during normal surgery hours. Appointments are available from 18.30 – 19.30 on Monday evenings. These appointments must be booked in advance.
SMS Text Messaging
We are now able to send appointment reminders to your mobile phone. Please let us have your mobile number and your consent to provide this service.
